About Glover Gardens:

Glover Gardens' mission is to build sovereign communities throughout Philadelphia. We design, construct and install custom garden beds. We provide the soil, plants, and one-one lessons during the installation. We hope our garden beds reconnect families to the land and their foodways. Let's start having conversations about the foods we grew up eating and growing!

About Sharing Excess:

Sharing Excess aims to revolutionize food sharing by solving the logistical barriers of rescue and redistribution. Our reactive and agile approach makes it easy for any business to donate fresh food on a regular basis. We cover transportation, coordination, delivery and everything in between. Working with both food businesses and food banks, Sharing Excess acts as the agile middle-player who is solely dedicated to reducing food waste and increasing food access. We leverage innovative technology to help cut costs, improve efficiency, and track valuable impact - a win win for everyone's bottom line.

About Drexel University's Close School of Entrepreneurship:

As a dedicated school of entrepreneurship, we teach an entrepreneurial mindset and practice through experiential methods, excellent teaching, thought leadership and creative programming - thus igniting students’ careers and personal aspirations. We push our students to start something, to fail, and to start over again. As we coach them through this process, our mission is to foster an entrepreneurial mindset together with acquiring the skill set inherent to the entrepreneurial process.
