SBN’s GSI Partners Virtual Quarterly Meeting: Friday, January 22

SBN hosts a virtual discussion with our region’s GSI partners and leaders to share research, updates, and new resources. This quarter's meeting will include a presentation by Karl Russek, Director of Programs and Applied Research with the Water Center at Penn. The Water Center will be presenting on the status of their latest research on water quality and uses of the Delaware River and its tributaries, which have implications for stormwater management. Howard Neukrug, Executive Director of the Water Center at Penn, will be in attendance, and is interested in hearing input from our GSI Partners members and sponsors.
 
A summary of the study from the Water Center at Penn: 
“The Water Center and its partners will evaluate expected results of planned investments with the goal of predicting when and where water quality could support swimming as those committed projects are implemented. The project will culminate in the development of a number of possible options for policymakers to consider for optimizing or accelerating improvements and improving access for communities along this urbanized stretch of the river.”
